Relive the evolution of the entire Universe in Genesis*, a visual and multisensory journey with special effects!
From the Big Bang to the beginnings of life on Earth, from the extinction of the dinosaurs to the appearance of our ancestors, passing through the last ice age, Genesis is a real journey into the past starting from 14 billion years ago. A deeply immersive journey divided into four rooms, with 3D effects and engaging multisensory effects.
Fourteen billion years ago, a great explosion, the Big Bang, gave birth to the Universe. The Earth was formed 4.6 billion years ago following the fusion of cosmic debris. Slowly, the densest elements concentrated in the core of the planet, while the lighter ones settled towards the outside; from the slow cooling process of the fiery magma, the Earth's crust consolidated.
About 4.4 billion years ago, intense volcanic activity created an atmosphere rich in methane, ammonia, carbon monoxide, and water vapor. Water falling as rain on the earth formed the oceans; the shallow, warm waters around volcanoes concentrated the chemicals that gave rise to the first forms of life.
Two billion years ago the first complex unicellular organisms appeared, and 750 million years ago the first multicellular organisms began to develop.
The journey continues, stopping at 150 million years ago, at the beginning of the Cretaceous Period. Dinosaurs and pterosaurs were the absolute rulers of the planet and had by then colonized all the continents. About 65 million years ago, however, at the end of the Cretaceous Period, an extraordinary event determined the disappearance of most of them. A shower of meteorites caused such climatic upheavals that these animals were unable to adapt to the change. After the disappearance of the dinosaurs, mammals took over.
About 10,000 years ago the last ice age ended and conditions on the planet became particularly favorable to the advent of man.
